Meditation can be a part of mental health counseling as one of many coping skills you learn and practice. However, mental health counseling can not be a part of meditation coaching. Mental health counseling is regulated by laws that vary by each state. If it’s revealed that you would benefit from mental health counseling during meditation coaching we can discuss what the most ethically and appropriate course of support could be for you.
